Because of Michael's faith and confession of Jesus, it has given our family great peace in knowing that he is with The Father.

All children feel the wonder of the planets and the stars, of science and technology in their myriad forms, of the joy of learning, of discovery and of exploration. Astronauts are adults who have kept alive that sense of wonder, and have had the discipline, dedication and courage to achieve their dreams. May their intrepid and noble example inspire present and future generations to emulate and surpass them.

I helped launched both Challenger and Columbia and I picked up pieces of debris in Nacogdoches in the thickest brush imaginable. It's hard for me to fathom that the shuttle program is in it's last years.

I will always remember.

HAIL COLUMBIA.

Although safe now in the arms of our loving lord god all mighty, we will never forget the priceless sacrafice you gave that sad day. It caused greif and pain in the hearts of the world, but drew together the heroes who dedicated their time, sweat, and tears in the recovery of your scattered peices. We will never forget and forever be grateful to every man woman and child who put aside their problems and gathered together to help. God Bless Us All

I look up to these astronauts. I respect these brave souls from the bottom of my heart. I am doing a project on the Challenger, and I have found it so emotional that these 7 crew members died in such a horrific manner. I hope to one day, go and visit their memorial. This is an event in history that must never be forgotten. I find it so apparent now day that other students are not aware of such an important event in our nations history. I am in tenth grade, and it is really suprising what the main census is when the subject of the Challenger is brought up. The responses usually are something like, "Oh, isn't that a spaceship." Then the conversation ends. I find it crucial that students be taught of the explosion, and the crew members of the Challenger.
